The lead role of Vikram Shenoy is played by Unni Mukundan and Aadhi’s (Adityan Menon) role is played by Dulquer Salmaan. Whereas the lead actress role of Deepika Rai is executed by actress Namitha Pramod.
The story begins with a scene of Kunjunni Menon who uses to be a witty thief and falls in love with Lakshmi who is a police constable. When Kunjunni came to know that Lakshmi wants to marry a policeman and then he becomes a fake policeman and somehow marries Lakshmi.
Whereas Lakshmi’s other colleague Vasudeva Shenoy who also loves her remains unable to marry her.
After marriage, Lakshmi gave birth to her son Adithyan. Vasudeva Shenoy also gave birth to his son Vikram Shenoy on the same day when Adithyan Menon was born. Then the story moves to the present.
In the present day, Vikram Shenoy has been showcased as the SI (Sub Inspector) who loved a girl Deepika Pai and proposed to her but Deepika didn’t accept it.
And in the meanwhile Lakshmi’s son also Adithyan also enters the town after many years. Then Lakshmi’s husband commits suicide when Lakshmi came to know that her husband Kunjunni is a fake police officer.
Then old rivals since school days Vikram and Adithyan meet each other. When they use to compete in their school Adithyan always use to lose the game.
Adithyan Menon’s father Kunjunni commits suicide because he was caught red-handed by Vikram Shenoy. And from here movies take the twist and turn.

Vikram living his life as a hardcore police officer has everything in life whereas Adithyan spends his life involving himself in illegal activities.
Further, when the movie steps ahead Adithyan falls in love with Vikram’s girlfriend Deepika whereas Deepika always treated Vikram as his best friend and not a love of life. Deepika also falls in love with Adithyan.
And then they both complete their graduation together and apply for the post Of Sub Inspector. And from here the story takes lots of twists which leads Adithyan to become an IPS officer after he successfully cracks the UPSC exam and got posted as the superior officer to Vikram Shenoy.
And then, in the end, Vikram as a good human being asks Adithyan to accept Deepika as his soul mate and finally, Vikram loosed the game of love in the end.
