His niece and her boyfriend named Brian Laundrie began their four-month cross-country trip On July 2, 2021, as they were passionate about traveling. Gabby whose real full birth name was Gabrielle Venora Petito worked as a digital content creator.
Gabby and Brian were also documenting their trip on the Gabby channel’s Nomadic Statik. Last year in July 2020, Laundrie proposed to Petito for marriage and they got engaged. They seemed very happy together however, Brian Petito is the person of interest in this case.
During their trip, Brian and Gabby were involved in an argument. The travel fatigue was also taking a lot of toll on their mental health. They had an encounter with Utah police during one of their alterations.
On August 24, 2021, Gabby Petito talked to her mom Nichole Schmidt for the last time and her location was near Salt Lake City International Airport. Her mom later revealed that she talked via text for a couple of days. Where was Gabby Petito’s dead body found?
Petito’s family made multiple requests to Christopher Laundrie and Roberta Laundrie (Brian’s parents) to help them in finding their missing daughter. Gabby lived at Chris’ house for more than one year. Therefore, it seemed very weird to them that Laundrie was not helping them at all.
Instead, they hired a lawyer and maintained their silence. On September 17, 2021, Chris and Roberto reported Brian Laundrie missing. Earlier, the family went on a hike at the Carlton Reserve when their son went lost. On September 19, 2021, a human remains matching Gabby’s appearance was located by the FBI at Bridger–Teton National Forest in Wyoming.
On September 21, 2021, the autopsy report cleared that the dead body was Gabby Petito. As per the police, it is a case of homicide. They are now searching for Brian Petito as he is a person of interest. Steve Petito blasted on the Laundrie family after they posted May Gabby rest in peace.
