According to the reports, Pori has been tried to rape and molest on June 08, 2021, in Savar, Bangladesh. She said that she went to the club with her two friends and at the same time a well-known businessman and politician, named Nasir Uddin Mahmood, came and began to offer her a drink.
When she refused to take it, then he, along with his 4 other mates, started pressurizing her and touching her in an inappropriate way. She further said that they also hit her and tried to kill her but somehow, she got escaped. She requested the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina for help. She wrote that:-
I have been a victim of physical abuse.
I have been tried to rape and kill.
I want justice for this.”
All rapists of Pori Moni along with Nasir Uddin Mahmood were arrested on June 14, 2021 (Monday). Bangladesh police did a commendable job by arresting the culprits soon. On this, Pori Moni said that:-
