Then Pernilla got succeeded in meeting Shimon with the help of a journalist from VG. This journalist is the same person who photographed Shimon earlier.

Leviev was then extradited to Israel in December and was convicted with the historical fraud charges and was sent to 15 months jail with a penalty of paying victims £31,000 in compensation and a fine of £4,200.
But unfortunately, he was released after 5 months of his imprisonment and is still living in Israel.
