Nick Razak is worried about how his lady was treated by the URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority) officers. They entered his home forcefully on July 31, 2021 (Saturday) and also did not had any warrant or legal notice. Nick posted a video on his official IG profile and said that how can Safe distancing enforcement officers can enter his house at night when he was not at home. He said:-
They came to my house without any warrant. My wife was not taken into the room by any woman URA officer”
He added that there were 6 male officers and no female officer was there. On this, URA responded on August 02, 2021 (Monday) that Safe distancing enforcement officers are allowed to search the house without a warrant to check whether the rules and regulations related to Covid-19 are followed or not.
They also said that they received several complaints that Nick Mikhail and other brokers throw parties at home and invite more people for gatherings than allowed. Moreover, URA also explained that they did checking with the permission of the lady in the house and after 10 minutes of inspection, they left Mikhail’s home to inspect another home.
