Mercy Chinwo started her music career at a very tender age when she was almost 8 years old. She became a member of the children’s choir in church. She later became more successful in her musical career and launched her musical albums.
Many times she has lent her voice to musical ministries like Chris Morgan, Preye, Buchi, Joe Praiz, Okposo, and Sammie. She then became active in participating in different music competitions until she joined Nigerian Idol in 2012. Mercy participated in the Nigerian Idol Season 2 and came out as the winner of the show in 2012. Nigerian Idol made her popular among many Gospel music lovers. In 2015 she came in front of an audience by releasing her first song “Testimony” and then released another song “Igwe”.
