Production house Shvedh Group declared that they title the movie name as “Lockup” because it films the life of two police officers and includes some facts about real-life incidents. The production team also shared that in this movie actor Vaibhav played the role of a police officer first time in his career.

Lockup Movie Story
If we talk about the story of the Lockup movie then will experience that the entire story revolves around the police officer Vasanth played by Vaibhav. Vasanth use to serve on the post of the constable. An entertaining scene comes in the story when inspector Ilavarasi starts investigating a murder mystery of his fellow colleague. Then Sub-Inspector Moorthy also joins the investigation. Investigating further they experience that all the pieces of evidence that they have found against the killer are fabricated. Then they came to a conclusion that someone from their police department has done changes to the shreds of evidence. Later Moorthy appears as an antagonist and is declared the person behind all the controversies.
