And now after the death of Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland Mr. Oba Saliu Adetunji, he is said to be elected as the next king or Olubbadan.

He has spent his childhood along with his brother. But, his brother is no longer alive and died earlier. When he became little understanding and young he use to follow his brother who he was admitted to Rapid Result College in the UK to update his different performance. By reading his brother’s correspondence tutorials it helps Lekan a lot and he cleared the qualifying test which is said to be ‘G4’ in those days. He passed this qualifying exam when he was in the mid of the modern school program and left the school without completing the program.
Holding the qualifying certificate he stepped to the United Kingdom where he preceded his education for O and A levels certificated along with doing part-time job in his free time. He did all this under the age of 18 only.
Later moving to the year 1973 of his education he completed his Master’s Degree in Administration and Economics from the popular University. The name of the university is not mentioned by him in his interview. But after getting a Master’s Degree he started working and after one and a half years he enrolled himself for Ph.D.
Yes, after enrolling for Ph.D. he resumed his research work at ABU center for Social and Economic Research. He also got the opportunity to work as a lecturer at the University of Ife. Ife is now famous with the name of Obafemi Awolowo University. But he didn’t accept the opportunity and chose to research at ABU.
