After a long time, Tamil cinema is back with a horror genre movie with a comedy touch in it. Fans of the comedy-horror movie have rushed to their nearest theatres since Katteri movie got released on 5th August 2022. After the first day first show of the Kaatteri, it got high ratings and good reviews from the audience.
Director Deekay has made something good to watch for the Indian audience. Lead role player Viabhav as Mahesh has just made the character favorite of every audience with his acting skills. The filming of this film began on 20th April 2018. And after a long time of 4 years, it got released in theatres on 5th August 2022.

Sharing a synopsis about the Katteri movie then it is a story of a village all the people got murdered by a stranger who makes the murder appear like an accident. And in the meanwhile, Vaibhav with his friends enters the village to find out his lost friend and then the game of ghost begins to entertain the audience.
If we talk about the review of the movie then the audience liked the writing and direction work. The movie begining attracts the audience and suddenly it increases the curiosity inside the audience about the ghost and horror factors. After 30 minutes of the movie, the audience gets some laughable moments and some adult jokes too. The maximum filming of the movie is done inside a big bungalow.
The performance of the actors like Vaibhav is not so high and not so down. He has delivered his dialogues in a good way but somewhere he missed the timing to make the audience laugh with these jokes.
On the other hand character of Varalazmi Sarathkumar as Bhumika doesn’t fit the story and appears to be a useless character completely. Actress Like Sonam Bajwa and Aathmika are there just to add glamour to the movie
There are no songs added in the movie which adds a negative factor to Kaatteri movie. The music given in Background by S. N. Prasad is very basic. Overall if we say that movie has some low facts but is a completely entertaining movie and a one-time watch film. The audience has given this movie a rating of 8.8 out of 10 on IMDB
