The story of the Gubbachigalu begins with an introduction of a school-going young boy and girl. One day after returning back to the home they met a strange person on the way back their home. He shares a fantasy story with the kids. But his story appears to be real as kids experience magic around them.
The strange person gives them a manta “Bird, Bird! Rice I bring! Picking, Pecking! You are Feasting!, so that they can find a bird to play with it.
He shared with kids that they need to chant this mantra in order to experience magical things around them. The person gives the mantra to the kids so that they can find a mother bird in order to play with baby Sparrow. Just like this both young girl and boy began their journey to experience magic around them and thus the story move further making the kid’s audience entertained. They try to find a bird to play with the mantra given by unknown men.
