According to the reports, Bhargava got arrested in Vishakhapatnam for raping a 14 years old girl. Police of Andhra Pradesh detained him according to Indian Penal Code POSCO (The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), which protects children from sexual exploitation. He was arrested in Hyderabad but later shifted to the Disha Nagar police station, Visakhapatnam, which was specially established for enquiring the crimes against women and children.
According to the ACP of Disha Nagar police station, the rapist gave offers to the girl that he will bring her into the film industry and also proposed to her but the girl was not interested and rejected his proposal. The arrogant Tiktok star started blackmailing the girl with her exploited video. ACP continued that the girl is 4 months pregnant. Her parents filed a complaint against the Bhargav under the IPC 376 and 354 on 16 April after the pregnancy of the girl.
He got arrested on April 18 and was presented before the magistrate. As per court orders, he will remain on remand till 03 May. The ACP strictly barred the public and the media from attempting to reveal the girl’s identity.
