This film shows the time period of 2015. A young doctor from Bhubaneswar named Dr. Siddharth Mohanty (played by Babushaan Mohanty) completed his MBBS. Later, he was posted to a cut-off tribal area in Malkangiri, Odisha to Janbai PHC. As per Odisha’s guidelines, all medical students had to spend 5 years in a rural area otherwise, they have to pay INR 5 crores bond price. Siddharth had to go there without his will.
As time passed, Siddharth decided to educate all the people of the village about medical facilities and fight against all the odds. The rest of the film is kept secret by the makers not to spoil the interest of the viewers. Additionally, the public love this movie and gave it the highest IMDb rating in India.
