Captain Shubham Gupta (born 9 October 1997 – died 23 November 2023, Aged: 27 years old) was an Indian Army officer who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on 23 November 2023. He was leading a team of soldiers in a counter-insurgency operation in the Pulwama district when they came under heavy fire from the militants.

He fought valiantly and killed two terrorists before succumbing to his injuries. He was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra, the third-highest gallantry award in India, for his courage and devotion to duty.
