Ankita Bhandari Rishikesh (born in 2003 – died 18 September 2022; Age: 19 years) was an Indian receptionist and social media personality from Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India. As per the various sources, she used to work as a receptionist at ‘The Vanantara Resort’, owned by Pulkit Arya. She worked in the resort for the last few months and also gave her best towards her work.

The police officers became active and began searching for her in various places. Afterward, the case was handed over to the Laxmanjhula Regular Police Station.

Unfortunately, her body was found around 5 days late from Chilla Power House. She was killed brutally by the resort owner named Pulkit Arya. As per the sources, Pulkit Arya is the son of a renowned BJP politician named Vinod Arya. Reportedly, Vinod Arya was expelled from the party because his son killed a girl.

The father complained of missing Ankita Bhandari at the revenue police post in Udaipur Talla. As the social media was very active regarding the missing news of Ankita, the officials became active and the matter was handed over to the Laxmanjhula Regular Police Station. After the investigation, the police found three accused named Pulkit Arya (resort owner), Saurabh Bhaskar (manager), and Ankit Gupta (assistant manager).

The accused revealed that Ankita and Pulkit had an argument in the resort because he wanted Ankita to make physical contact with the clients and she refused to do so. Afterward, all four went to Chilla canal. The boys consume alcohol and Pulkit & Ankita began fighting again. In a rage, Pulkit pushed her into the Canal.

Ankita also screamed for help but three of them got scared and run away. The SDRF and police teams recovered the body from Chilla Power House on 24 September 2022 in the morning and sent it to Rishikesh AIIMS for post-mortem.
