UP Govt Announces Sunday Lockdown, Heavy Fine of Rs. 10,000 For Second Time Mask Violation

Lucknow, 16 April 2021 – Now as cases surge in the state of Uttar Pradesh the government has announced on lockdown on Sunday. A fine of 1000 rupees to be imposed on those not wearing a mask. If caught the second time, the fine will be as high as 10,000 rupees. A fine of 10,000 rupees for those caught flouting rules for the second time. Is this a small price to pay in comparison to paying the price of one’s life?

A huge number of people do not prefer to wear a mask in Uttar Pradesh. People do not wear masks in Hospitals, clinics, Market, Marriages, parties, and other crowdy places as well. Therefore, Yogi Adityanath’s UP Government has announced a new fine policy for those who do not wear masks. This huge fine will alarm people to wear masks in public places because UP Police will surely impose a fine on those people who they caught not wearing masks.
