Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh wants a New Vaccination Strategy to deal with COVID-19 Surge in the State

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has now sought a review on the strategy to vaccinate all age groups in the affected areas. The Punjab government is now advocating immunization for judges, for students, for teachers, for politicians, and the resumption of all normal activities.

Now amid the surge in covid 19 cases in the state of Punjab, especially the chief minister, Captain Amarinder Singh said that strict policy being formulated to deal with the virus as we are looking at many of those districts in Punjab, where strict measures such as night curfews have already been implemented.

If we talk about Patiala if we talk about Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, and in Mohali where night curfew has already been put in place until further orders. Now, Punjab is seeking that vaccination for all especially those who are in the frontline workers, which has already been dealt with, but the other people as well should have free access to vaccines to get themselves inoculated. Now, the Punjab government is advocating vaccines for judges for students, for teachers, even for politicians, and resumption of all normal activities.

The point is the kind of situation in the state of Punjab pushes them to enhance the vaccination drive. So that is why they are looking for new vaccination strategies. That’s why they have pressed for vaccination for the advocates, MC employees, municipal Panchayat employees, MLAs, MPs, school students, college students, everyone beyond any kind of age group.

Just because the state of Punjab is more interested to enhance the vaccination ride, instead of putting the restrictions just already nine cities have been under the night curfew. So somewhere down the line, the situation in the state of Punjab is worrisome.

Just because in the last 24 hours 1475 cases have been reported positive and the death rate has been enhanced to a worrisome situation. So that is why the chief minister, as well as the Punjab health minister, is all both are pressing on the same line. They are advocating to enhance the vaccination.

So they have already raised their demand to enhance this talk for the Punjab of vaccination. So they can just lift the age group so they can write vaccination to all the age groups of the Government employees, Frontline workers, and other people.
