P.C. Chacko – Senior Congress Leader Resigned Ahead Of Kerala Assembly Polls
P.C. Chacko just filed his resignation with the Congress Party. During a press conference when journalists asked that did he has words about this to Rahul Gandhi then Chacko said that Rahul Gandhi knows very well. He further told that Rahul advised the Congress leadership on many occasions that he like him very much but groupism is something which Rahul cannot tolerate.
As per P.C. Chacko, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi mentioned groupism many times. The former MP said that it does not mean that they are going to be corrected. He clearly told that they don’t want to be corrected. They want to be a party and they want to be a group.
Moreover, when the reporters asked why is that so? then P.C. Chacko said that there was no Election Committee. There is an election committee normally. There should be a panel if you are contesting 90 seats, which are the names that came up for the 90 seats.
He further added that there was no panel other than what they are discussing and deliberately not know many people. According to him, the majority of the people do not know what they are discussing in Delhi.
He asked in the media that what is the list that is going to the screening committee should be first place before the selection committee? And without placing a list in the election committee what is it that they’re discussing here?
P.C. Chacko submitted his resignation from the Congress Party on March 10, 2021. He has sent his resignation letter to Congress President Shri Rahul Gandhi. The former MP told that this is a very disturbing and disappointing situation but he tried his best.
He invited the attention of the Congress high command that they are an intervention, but he was not able to succeed even though he has very close contact with the high command.
