Patna, April 17, 2021 – A huge relief for the RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, who has gotten bail in the Fodder Scam Case. The RJD Chief so far has been convicted in four out of the five cases related to the multicores Fodder Scam cases. Well in February this year, the court had earlier rejected the same as the RJD chief had failed, short of 17 days to complete his sentencing and after completion, the set period in jail the RJD supremo had once again sought bail in court. And for now, it has been granted by the court. The Jharkhand High Court that granting bail to Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Big relief for Lalu Yadav in the sense that he was lost in jail for the past close to four years, and in between, he was out on parole as well. And this comes as a big relief in the sense that he was convicted in two other cases of the Fodder Scam earlier and in which he had got bailed in the Chaibasa. And that they had raised the case, a case in which he was convicted on charges of fraudulent withdrawals. Now, this relief he is got in fraudulent withdrawal from the Dumka Treasury.
And this was pending for a long time. And there were a lot of deliberations and arguments in the court. The CBI also making a plea that Lalu Yadav should not be granted bail on the ground that he has not completed half sentence. And now that Lalu Yadav has completed half-sentence, the Jharkhand High Court has granted him bail. And also there was a plea from the counsel of Lalu Yadav.
That Lalu Yadav is not keeping well. He is facing multiple illnesses, multiple disorders. And but despite that, he was not granted bail. We’ve heard the stories of how Lalu Yadav used to hold the part in jail. But now that he has completed half the sentence. The court was in its right to grant bail to Lalu Yadav.
This comes as a huge relief for Lalu Yadav and as well as the RJD because, in Lalu Yadav’s Absence, the RJD fought the elections very tough and hard. And now that there would be a sense of relief and happiness among the Carters of the RJD after RJD president Lalu Yadav has been granted bail. Lalu Yadav is being treated in Delhi hospital. He is right now is in Delhi. The legal formalities are being done.
