100th Day of Farmers Protest in Delhi (KMP Expressway Chakka Jaam) Observe As ‘Black Day’
On 6 March 2021, the farmer’s protest at Delhi’s borders has entered day 100. Former unions have blocked the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway to walk 100 days of the ongoing agitation. Now the ‘Chakka Jaam’ the KMP expressway will be held for five hours. Toll plazas are also being freed in Dasna, Dadri, and greater Noida. The protesting farmers have decided to observe today as a black day. Security’s been beefed up across the KMP Expressway. Police have blocked all roads leading to these protests cited barricades barbed wire and other obstacles to ensure there’s no repeat of the Republic day violence.
Heavy police forces have also been deployed at all the protest sites. The farmer leaders have said that their movement is far from over the regenerator that is going strong. Thousands of farmers particularly from Punjab and Haryana are staging a sit-in protest and it’s been going on since November 26, 2020. All meetings and talks with the center have been futile. Former unions are demanding immediate rollback of the 3 reforms.
A group of farmers is sitting here in the KMP expressway and they are protesting since 11 am. And it will continue till 3 pm they are saying that they will intensify their protest with the time because it has been more than 100 days but the government is not listening to them. And after the 11th round of talks, there is no outcome and the stalemate continues. That’s why they don’t have any option to continue with this protest. The road is affecting and the KMP expressway is also affecting. Many vehicles are stranded here. Commuters are also stranded here.
They all provided by a water bottle and other things to farmers providing all things to all these stranded passengers. They are telling about the three laws and they want that they want to register their anguish over all these laws. This farmer protest started in November last year, and now it’s entered into hundreds of days and now they will intensify with time. At two o’clock Rakesh Tikait will be staying here and he will say something about this. Many Maha Panchayat is going on not only in western UP but also in Rajasthan and Haryana. Rakesh Tikait also said that he will approach all bound poll boundaries states like West Bengal and others.
