The film shows that the eldest brother of the family named Parama (acted by Linga) invited his sister Kanmani (acted by Gayathrie Shankar) and brother-in-law Murali home for their mother’s death anniversary. Soon after the movie takes a turn where they began plotting to force their dad Vinayagam to sell the home, they are living in, to get some money. On the other hand, Vinayagam is firm on his decision not to sell the property because that has some issues.
One day Vinayagam went to a complex, where he often goes, and collapsed. The government announced INR 20 Lakhs as compensation to the family. Parama and Kanmani did not take their father’s death as an important matter and began quarreling over dividing the prize money equally.
