The story begins while showing the tragedy in the life of a woman named Alma Abuela Madrigal. She losses her husband when they escape their home from the Conquerors but rescued her three kids Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. She escapes her all children as a miracle happens with one candle that she holds during her escape. That candle was enchanted with magic to protect the people of the village.
Later this candle gifts a new house to Abuela along with different gifts. While The miracle completing changing their life also provides a magical power to her son Bruno as he becomes capable to see the future.
Whereas Abuela’s other son Antonio got the ability to talk with animals. Meanwhile, another character who is Abuela’s granddaughter Mirabel suddenly observes cracks appearing across their house and the candles start flickering but as she tell everyone everything gets back to normal and Mirabel got amazed by that.
The later story takes many twists and turns with the amazing magical powers of all the characters in the movie. To know more interesting of the movie you have to visit you near theatres and have to watch it.
