In the previous The Hole is Open Chapter 63, Ja-Kang and his friends were attacked by a group of masked men who claimed to be the guardians of the hole. They accused Ja-Kang of being a thief and a traitor and demanded him to hand over the key that his grandfather gave him. Ja-Kang refused to comply, and a fierce battle ensued.
Ja-Kang used his skills and abilities to fight back, but he was outnumbered and overwhelmed. He was saved by a mysterious woman who appeared out of nowhere and helped him escape. The woman introduced herself as Yoo-Jin and revealed that she was also a descendant of the hole’s creator. She told Ja-Kang that his grandfather was not the only one who knew about the hole and that there were others who wanted to use the hole for their own purposes.
Yoo-Jin explained that the hole was a gateway to another world, where different rules and laws applied.
