Delhi, 8 April 2021 – Deep Sidhu’s hearing has been postponed to April 12. Now, what would the government advocate said is that if there was no Red Fort plan then why did farmers reach the Red Fort? The government advocate also questioned farmers’ peaceful protest. Advocate that was representing the government has gone ahead and questioned the farmers stir and also said that if there were no plans of going to Red Fort. This was not a pre-planned operation, then how is it that so many farmers or other legit farmers arrived at the Red Fort?
Trouble mounting to Deep Sindhu because Delhi police today oppose the bail plea filed by Sidhu in the Tis Hazari District Court. And now the Tis Hazari Court will take up the bail plea of Deep Sidhu of 12 April. During the hearing, the Delhi police advocate informs the Tis Hazari Court that Deep Sidhu is one of the main conspirators.
He changed the main route and he diverted that all the agitators towards the Red Fort and the once he reached thereafter that violence had occurred and 26th of January on Red Fort. So bail should not be granted to Deep Sidhu. This is the submission which is made by Delhi police in Tis Hazari Court and now the Tis Hazari Court will take up Deep Sidhu bail plea on the 12th of April. It remains to be seen whether Deep Sidhu will grant any relief by the Tis Hazari court or not.
If you talk about the hearing which took place today before Tis Hazari court that the Government Delhi Police Advocate, today opposes the bail plea of Deep Sidhu. Second important thing is that the Govt advocate submitted the Deep Sidhu is the main conspirator. All the argument which is made by the Delhi police advocate before Tis Hazari court is in the charge sheet which is filed against Deep Sidhu and other protesters. So, Deep Sidhu’s bail plea is postponed to 12 April 2021.
