COVID-19 Bodies Found Buried In Sand Near River Ganga In UP’s Unnao

Unnao – The second wave of COVID-19 has been leaving a nightmarish ripple effect in the country. Several dead bodies were seen buried in Unnao-Buxar Ghat in Uttar Pradesh.
The riverbank was overwhelmed with cremation rituals, which the priests eventually refuse to perform. Families then began to bury the bodies of their relatives.
Local administration has now put a ban on burning the dead allowing only cremation.

The Ganga Ghat stretching from UP to Bihar has been overwhelmed with bodies of COVID-19 positive patients floating at its banks. Bihar government has so far pulled out 71 bodies from the holy river.
