Potential Plot
The first season of The Matchmakers ended with a happy ending for Jung-woo and Soon-deok, who confessed their love for each other and decided to stay together. However, their relationship still faced many obstacles, such as opposition from the royal family, political intrigue from the Left State Councilor’s enemies, and the secret of Soon-deok’s double life as a matchmaker.
Season 2 will likely continue to explore the challenges and conflicts that Jung-woo and Soon-deck have to overcome, as well as the development of their romance and marriage. We can also expect to see more of the humorous and heartwarming interactions between the main couple and the supporting characters, especially the three unmarried women that they are trying to help: Lady Kim, Lady Choi, and Lady Lee.
Additionally, season 2 might introduce some new twists and surprises, such as a possible pregnancy for Soon-desk, a hidden identity for Jung-woo, or a new threat to their happiness. Whatever the case, we hope that season 2 will deliver the same level of entertainment and quality as season 1, and that it will satisfy the fans of The Matchmakers.
