Poojai Movie Full Storyline & Plot
According to Wikipedia, the story of this movie shows Vasudevan, or “Vasu,” (played by Vishal) a moneylender based in Coimbatore and the heir to the Kovai Group, a cloth manufacturing company. However, because of a misunderstanding, his mother, Rajalakshmi, who is also the matriarch of his joint family, divorced him. At a mall, he meets Divya, a wealthy girl, and they become friends. Divya, on the other hand, declines his proposal due to status issues, but she eventually falls for his humble demeanor.
Vasu saves Sivakkozhundhu, the ASP of Coimbatore District, and his wife from a group of thugs who work for Anna Thandavam. Anna Thandavam is a businessman and hitman from Pollachi who frequently hires North Indian killers to kill anyone in order to get their land and money. Vasu saves Sivakkozhundhu from these thugs. Sivakkozhundhu had planned to kill him when he was moved from Tirunelveli to Coimbatore to look into the client case of Anna Thandavam.
Anna Thandavam also intends to illegally acquire land that Vasu’s late father Rathnaswamy sold to a village temple. An angry Anna Thandavam orders his henchman to attack Vasu’s uncle Ramaswamy when the land is officially sold to the temple. Vasu, having reconciled with his family, beats the henchman in retaliation, breaks his hand, and also fights Anna Thandavam, who thrashes him in full view of the public.
