In this episode, the group finds a ventriloquist dummy named Slappy in an abandoned theater, where they learn that he was once Harold Biddle’s best friend and partner in crime. However, they soon realize that Slappy is not just a dummy, but a living being with a sinister agenda. Slappy reveals that he was the one who caused Harold’s death and that he has been waiting for a new master to help him unleash his army of dummies on the world. Slappy tries to manipulate Isaiah into becoming his new master, but the group manages to escape with the help of a mysterious girl named Jillian, who claims to be Harold’s sister.
Storyline for Goosebumps (2023) Episode 13-14
The five main characters return to Port Lawrence, where they find out that their town has been taken over by a mysterious force that has turned everyone into zombies. They receive a message from R.L. Stine, the author of the Goosebumps books, who tells them that he is the one who created the supernatural entities that they have encountered and that he needs their help to stop them.
Stine tells them that the source of the evil is Horrorland, a haunted amusement park that he created as a child, but that became corrupted by his own fears and nightmares. He says that they need to go to Horrorland and destroy the Heart of Horror, a device that powers the park and controls the monsters. The five main characters agree to help Stine and enter Horrorland, where they face various horrors and challenges, such as a haunted house, a werewolf village, a vampire castle, a swamp of zombies, and a carnival of doom.
They also encounter some of the monsters that they have previously faced, such as the haunted mask, the living dummy, the abominable snowman, the invisible boy, and the cuckoo clock of doom. They manage to reach the Heart of Horror, where they meet Stine, who reveals that he is actually a hologram and that he has been trapped in Horrorland for years, unable to escape. He tells them that the only way to destroy the Heart of Horror is to use their own fears against it, and that they need to face their worst nightmares and overcome them.
The five main characters do so and manage to destroy the Heart of Horror, which causes Horrorland to collapse and explode. They escape from Horrorland and return to Port Lawrence, where they find out that everything has returned to normal, and that their friends and family are alive and well.
They also receive a message from Stine, who thanks them for their help, and says that he is finally free from Horrorland and that he will continue to write more Goosebumps stories. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, as the five main characters receive a package from Stine, which contains a book titled Goosebumps 2: Return to Horrorland. They open the book and are sucked into it, leaving their fate unknown.
