First Reaction of Taapsee Pannu & Anurag Kashyap Over Income Tax Raids

Days after Income Tax Department redirected Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anurag shift for alleged income tax evasion. The two have finally broken their silence, hitting out at their critiques and refuting the alleged claims.
After marathon raids stretching in the superstar tax scandal, both Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap gave their first reaction to the incident. Taapsee refuting the allegations was at her witty best.
She said that three days of intense search was for three things primarily. In her first tweet, she sarcastically says that searches were on for the key of an alleged bungalow that she apparently owns in Paris.
In her second tweet, Taapsee took head-on the allegation that she had a cash receipt of Rs. 5 crores. She said that she would frame the alleged Rs. 5 crore cash receipt for better film deeds. The Bollywood diva also took a dig at Nirmala Sitharaman.
Taapsee sarcastically tweeted that the Income Tax authorities were searching for her memory of 2013 raids that happened according to the finance minister.
Remember Nirmala without naming anyone had said that raids had been conducted in 2013 also, but no one raised questions back then. The filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was indeed raided in 2013 during the UPA era and was found to be guilty of tax evasion worth Rs. 55 lakh.
The actress Kangana Ranaut has backed Nirmala saying that she was referring to Anurag and not Taapsee and termed it “Sasta Tamasha” by Taapsee and challenged her to prove her innocence in court.
There is a tweet war happening between these two top Indian actresses where Ranaut commented on Pannu that she will remain a Sasti (cheap) actress.
Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap also posted for the first time on Instagram after the IT raids. He shared a picture of him and Taapsee with the caption, restarting the shoot of the upcoming film Dobaaraa with all our love to all the haters.
