GATE 2022 Syllabus PDF Download (All Branches):- This year IIT Kharagpur has been assigned the role of the nodal institute to conduct the GATE 2022. Till today, 8 Indian Institutes have been given the responsibility to organize GATE on the behalf of National Coordination Board – GATE. This includes IISc Bengaluru and 7 IITs which are IIT Bombay, Madras, Delhi, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Kanpur, and Guwahati. The latest brochure and the GATE 2022 Syllabus have been released for all 29 effective Disciplines.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an exam conducted to admission into engineering and sciences into master’s programs, in various premium institutes such as IIT’s. Also, on the basis of GATE scores many PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) provides jobs offers. Financial help is also provided by the MHRD (Government of India) which is currently ₹12,400 (US$170) per month to candidates who have qualified GATE’s. Please note, that the GATE score of a candidate is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of announcement of the result.
Academic Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2022
- Bachelor’s Degree holder in either Engineering or technology or Architecture. Along with the final year student in these courses.
- Master’s Degree holder in either Mathematics or Science or Statistics. Along with final year students in these courses.
- Pursuing final year of Master Degree Program In Engineering or Technology (Post B.Sc) in Four-year Integration course.
- Either Pursuing final year of Dual Degree Program in Engineering or Technology in Five-year Integration course.
- Qualified Candidates through exams conducted by professional societies or AMICE or AMIETE which are recognized by UGC/AICTE, Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I), and IETE respectively.
Age Limit: No restriction
Nationality Criteria: Must be a citizen of India, Bangladesh, Singapore, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, UAE.

The exam will be conducted in 29 different disciplines, we have marked the Code Number for respective disciples and the corresponding link to download the syllabus of that Subject.
Please note that candidates can give either one exam or at most two exams to improve their chances of selection. One candidate will have to fill in only one form. Duplicate forms would be classified as invalid and no refund would be initiated for duplicate forms. All the second subject choice is already pre-finalized from which the candidate can choose the second subject. That list is attached below the given table.

Candidates have to select one default subject and then corresponding to that subject code, options for the second paper will be shown to him/her. Administration reserves the right to alter any subject combination, remove, or add any combination into the list. In case of any change in the list affecting the candidates’ invoice, then the refund would be initiated for that affected subject.
Further, note that there might be chances that the exam center can be different for the second subject paper as per the availability of resources, but it would be in the same city.

Documents & Details Required to Fill the Online Application Form in GATE 2022
- Personal data (Name, DOB, Mobile number, mail Id, parent’s details, qualification, academic records).
- Full current and correspondence address for communicating (Along with the PIN code of address).
- Formal Degree details mentioned in the notification.
- Degree completion college details and address (Along with the PIN code).
- Chosen GATE paper subjects and respective Code.
- Any three chooses for preferred exam center city.
- Good quality image of candidate’s picture, signature and thumb.
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST) In pdf format issued by central government.
- Disability Certificate (Pwd, Dyslexia) In pdf format issued by central government.
- Any valid government photo ID card, scanned copy: PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhar-card, Passport, Driving License. Please note, the same ID must be carried along with the candidate at the time of exam in examination hall.
- Net-Banking/Credit card details /UPI details/ Debit card details for fee payment, if chosen to pay by self through online mode.
