Canadian PM Justin Trudeau Pledges Help To India, Contributes 10 Million To Indian Red Cross Society

Ottawa, April 28, 2021 – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has pledged health to India and he has contributed 10 million US dollars to the Indian Red Cross Society.

Justin Trudeau tweeted and I quote – “Right now, the people of India are facing a tragic situation. To help with everything from ambulance services to buying personal protective equipment, we’re contributing $10 million to @IndianRedCross through @RedCrossCanada. We stand ready to donate extra medical supplies, too.”

This is Justin Trudeau’s government pledging support to India $10 million being sent across to the Indian Red Cross via Red Cross Canada and more health would come and that’s what Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister’s tweet has mentioned just now. The world is also taking note of the situation that India is in as of now after the United States now Canada has promised help and earlier we have seen how France, Germany, and a few other European countries do have promised including the United Kingdom as promised to help India.

If any assistance is worth mentioning, and in the time of despair that India is in right now, any type of assistance is welcome. Of course, money may not be as such as much relevant, but any type of help that can be that could be rendered to the COVID situation that we have. It is it would be a big boost. Canada extending their support is welcome, they are extending the support for the Red Cross Society of India. And surely, Red Cross can reach out to the people in the various regions and corners of India in the Red Cross Society.

So, it is a welcome gesture, but right now that we find ourselves in immediate need of assistance to the COVID-related problems, and essentially it is that the patient needs some sort of shelter or a hospital. They need oxygen gas supply, of course luckily oxygen gas has come in plenty in all over the places only the distribution channel has to be taught. So, if Red Cross Society can also have a few hundreds of cylinders of oxygen. They can load it and distributed that would be a big help. So, by and large, we have got the things coming up slowly, but surely, this Canadian gesture assisting the Indian government Red Cross Society is certainly a welcome step right.
