In 2023 all eyes were on Jeswin Aldrin when he was competing at the 2nd Indian Open Jumos Competition in March 2023. He there made a record for 8.42-meter jumps. he became the first Indian to set the 8.42-meter long jump national record.

In his three attempts, Jeswin opened his first jump attempt with 8.05 meters than in the second attempt he made a jump of 8.26 meters. In his last attempt, he grabbed all his body power and landed 8.42 meters away creating a national record in Long Jump.

Career- Long Jump Athlete, National Record Holder
Jeswin Aldrin had struggled hard to win medals at international levels. Since his 18’s he has been winning medals for the country. In 2019 he won Gold Medal at the Junior National Athletics Championships u-18 Long Jump category.
He then did well at the 2019 National School Games and then in the 2019 Junior Nationals. He made fast marks in the Indian Track and field circuit.
In February 2023 he won the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships where he set the Indoor record of 7.97 meters, and he won a silver medal. He also competed in the Federation Cup in 2022.
And now in 2023, he made big news by breaking records and doing a long jump of 8.42 meters. He grabbed the first position at Indian Open Jumps Competition, Inspire Institute of Sports Near Vidyanagar Township, Bellary by making an 8.42-meter jump record.
He will now compete at the 2023 Asian Games and World Championship as he got qualified for it.
