Frieren Episode 17 will continue the story from where episode 16 left off. In the previous episode, we saw Frieren reunite with her old friend Voll, a dwarf who protected his village for almost 400 years. Frieren shared some nostalgic moments with him, recalling their past adventures. Meanwhile, Sein, the priest who joined Frieren’s party recently, was searching for his best friend who went missing. He asked some villagers for directions and they led him to an old lady who claimed to know his friend’s whereabouts. However, she made Sein and his friends do some chores for her before revealing the information.

The old lady told Sein that his friend went to the city of Tur, which is in the opposite direction of where Frieren needs to go. This puts Sein in a dilemma, as he has to choose between following his friend or staying with Frieren’s party. What will he decide? Will he leave Frieren and the others behind? Or will he convince them to accompany him to Tur? Or will he give up on his friend and continue the journey with Frieren? The next episode will show us Sein’s choice and its consequences.
